What is a Decree Absolute?

Decree Absolute is the second and final Decree you will receive during divorce proceedings. The receipt of your Decree Absolute means that you marriage is brought to an end and has been legally dissolved. Upon obtaining Decree Absolute, both parties are able to remarry.

Please note that it is important that financial matters are considered and resolved prior to obtaining this Decree.
